Hardee Ford History
The Hardee family bought the dealership in January 1992. Denny came from a larger metro market, but desired a smaller store in a community that the family could grow in.Currently there are three Hardees working in the store now that Cathy and Denny have retired: Chris, Shaun, and Ashley taking the reins.
The goal is and remains for this store to be for Chris and Shaun.
Chris is a graduate of the NADA Dealer Academy and Shaun plans to attend in the near future.
Both have been involved with every department of the dealership, just like their father who started in the detail department working in parts and service, and now have management roles in sales. Chris is considered the sales manager and director of variable operations. Shaun is the Business Manger and director of fixed operations. Ashley (Shaun's wife) is picking up speed as controller or office manger.
The dealership also wants to be known as THE commmunity dealer. We obviously support many activities like baseball, soccer, football, and civic organizations. We are also a major supporter of our local rural hospital, Community Memorial Healthcenter, serving on the board, and being a volunteer and major financial support.
Shaun is married to Ashley, as stated before, and Chris is married to Tanya and have 4 sons.
